California Pizza Kitchen, the inventor of the BBQ Chicken Pizza, has always stood for innovation. However, with increased competition and shifting consumer behaviors, their innovative spirit was lost over time.

The goal of this visual identity and packaging redesign was to create consistency and clarity (by reinforcing CPK’s most iconic asset, the tile icon), elevate the brand, and drive reconsideration.
